Madhesh Provincial Assembly Prepares for 8th Anniversary

Janakpur: Preparations for the eighth anniversary of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly have reached the final stage. All employees of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly appear busy with the anniversary program scheduled to be celebrated tomorrow, Magh 21.

It has been decided to celebrate the anniversary through various programs over three days, and yesterday (Monday), a cleaning and tree plantation program was conducted on the Madhesh Provincial Assembly premises. 

Similarly, the schedule released by the Provincial Assembly mentions that today there will be competitions in games such as chess, badminton, and musical chairs between the members of the Provincial Assembly and the staff. Also today, there is a program to hand over support from the Provincial Assembly to the Manav Sewa Ashram, Old Age Home, and Kabir Bal Ashram located in Janakpurdham.

According to the schedule issued by the Provincial Assembly, a blood donation program will be held on Wednesday morning, the main day of the eighth anniversary, while the main ceremony will begin at 12:30 PM.

To make this year's anniversary unique and memorable, a stage plastered with mud reflecting Maithili culture has been constructed, and it is stated that there will be cultural performances in various local languages. The main ceremony of the anniversary also includes a program to honor various individuals, including the employees of the Provincial Assembly.
