Seven Political Parties to Claim Madhesh Province Government Formation
Janakpur. Seven political parties are set to submit their claim today, along with an alliance, for the formation of the Madhesh Province government.
Province Chief Surendra Labh Karna has given a deadline of 5 PM this evening to submit the claim, and Saroj Kumar Yadav, a JSP Nepal Member of Parliament and former Chief Minister, informed that the alliance will submit the claim at 2 PM this afternoon.
"The Chief Minister has been decided, and we are going to submit the claim at 2 PM today," he said. The seven-party alliance comprises Janamat Party, CPN (Unified Socialist), CPN (Maoist Centre), JSP Nepal, LOSAPA, Nepali Congress, and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
A source close to JSP suggests that if LOSAPA secures the Chief Minister post, the Nepali Congress will get the Speaker post.
