Madhesh Province Chief Minister to Seek Vote of Confidence

The newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Prasad Yadav, is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence on Mangsir 24 (December 10).

This decision was made at a meeting of the seven-party ruling coalition today, according to Ram Ashish Yadav, Chief Whip of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).

Yadav, who was appointed Chief Minister from the Nepali Congress party on Mangsir 19 (December 5), is set to take the oath of office and secrecy today.

Following the oath, he is preparing to form a small-sized cabinet. It is reported that the plan is to finalize the cabinet only after securing the vote of confidence.
