The newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Prasad Yadav, is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence on Mangsir 27 (Friday).
While CM Yadav was previously scheduled to take the vote of confidence today, the date was postponed due to his busy schedule, according to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat.
Yadav, who was appointed as the Chief Minister from the Nepali Congress on Mangsir 19, took the oath of office and secrecy along with three ministers on Mangsir 21.
Along with him, Mahesh Yadav from the Janamat Party was sworn in as the Minister of Finance, and Jangilal Raya (from Congress) and Kanis Patel (from CPN-Unified Socialist) were sworn in as Ministers without Portfolio.
