RPP Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden Urges Post-Election Consensus
Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has emphasized the need to move the country forward through a new consensus after the elections.
Speaking at an election rally held in Dhakdhai, Rupandehi, in support of RPP candidate Prajwal Bohara from Rupandehi-1, Chairman Lingden stated that holding elections alone, as in 2084 or 2082, would not resolve the country’s problems. He stressed that all parties should come together after the elections to advance the nation with a fresh understanding.
He expressed the view that, although RPP has emphasized a new agreement among the king, political parties, and the new generation even before the elections, no one paid attention. Chairman Lingden urged voters to cast their votes in a way that would help establish national consensus.
He also asked voters to thoughtfully use their votes, noting that candidates would be visiting households to greet people until the 21st of Falgun.
Chairman Lingden highlighted that the post-election scenario should create conditions where a strong force can provide a new consensus. In the election from Rupandehi-1, RPP candidate Prajwal Bohara, son of the late leader Deepak Bohara, is competing.
