Deu Prasad Limbu's Commitment to a Decent and Low-Cost Election in Jhapa-3

Kathmandu - Deu Prasad Limbu, the proposed candidate for Jhapa Constituency No. 3, has expressed his commitment to maintaining decency, morality, and full compliance with the election code of conduct. Sharing his views via social media, he clarified that while he will not engage in undignified abuse against any candidate or party, he will strongly counter character assassination, false accusations, and propaganda.

Referring to the accusations and counter-accusations that occur during elections, Limbu claimed that no one can point a finger at his character and morality. "There is not even a needle-point of stain on my character. I have committed no wrongdoing, so I will give an immediate ideological response to those making baseless allegations," he wrote.

He mentioned that he maintains respect for his competitors but warned that if anyone tries to turn the competition into enmity, Nepali Congress workers will retaliate ideologically. He stated that arbitrary allegations made against the Nepali Congress in the past and during the election will be immediately refuted.

The proposed candidate informed that he has already studied all the provisions and committed to 100% compliance with the election code of conduct. He clarified that even if some provisions are not practical, he will respect and follow the rules.

Expressing satisfaction with the election expenditure limits, Limbu claimed he would set a record by winning with an overwhelming majority while spending only a minimum fraction of the limit set by the Commission. "I am a man of the people and the workers. Nepali Congress is a party born from the people, not a party opened out of whim," he noted.

Limbu expressed confidence that Nepali Congress candidates across the country will also fight and win the elections in a decent and grand manner while fully adhering to the code of conduct.
