Legislative Committee to Study Coordination in Sudurpashchim Province
The National Assembly's Legislation Management Committee has decided to visit Sudurpashchim Province to study legislative coordination and interrelations among the federal, provincial, and local levels.
Following the meeting held on Tuesday at the committee's assembly hall in Singha Durbar, Committee Chairperson Tulasa Kumari Dahal provided this information, stating that a direct study in the province is necessary to understand the complexities and practical challenges in legal coordination among the three tiers of government.
"We have decided to visit Sudurpashchim Province to conduct a direct study at the provincial and local levels regarding the subject of legislative interrelations among federal units," said Chairperson Dahal.
The meeting also announced that the date for the study visit will be set by the Working Consultation Committee. The Working Consultation Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday.
The committee also reported that they discussed the annual report during the occasion. The committee is preparing to formulate a report and provide necessary suggestions to the concerned bodies after completing the study.
