Shankar Pokharel Shares Ganeshman Singh’s Thoughts on Leadership
Kathmandu — UML leader Shankar Pokharel recently shared on Facebook the thoughts of former leader Ganeshman Singh regarding leadership.
Ganeshman Singh stated, “We are leaders, not merely being led. A leader may have millions of people behind them, or sometimes stand alone.
A person who makes decisions based on counting the crowd behind them is not a leader, but merely led. Leadership is not limited to politics; it exists in intellectual, economic, and social fields as well. An intellectual leader is accountable only to their own conscience.
The day an intellectual leader starts giving opinions based on the size of the crowd or measuring allegiance to a particular group—they cease to be truly intellectual.”
Through sharing this post, Pokharel highlighted the importance of true leadership and intellectual independence.
