'Let's Build the Nation by Removing Anomalies': Leader Basnet Embraces Mahabir Pun's Message

Kathmandu – CPN (UML) leader Mahesh Basnet has expressed full support for the message posted on social media by Minister of Education, Science, and Technology Mahabir Pun, which criticizes the growing factionalism and 'pulling others down' tendency among the younger generation (Gen-Z).
Agreeing with the post made by Minister Pun this morning, Basnet has called upon political parties and all age groups to unite for the betterment of the nation.
Supporting Minister Pun's statement, leader Basnet recalled a lesson from history, stating that the main reason for the collapse of the Panchayat system was 'intrigue and factionalism.'
Leader Basnet placed special emphasis on Minister Pun's appeal targeting the 'Gen-Z generation.' He said:
"The Gen-Z generation should not repeat that mistake. You are not a political party; you are an age group. Let's move forward with the spirit of improving the country."
In his post, leader Basnet urged individuals from all political parties and age groups to resolve not to let history repeat itself.
He called upon everyone to unite in the campaign to 'not let the country become a foreign battlefield' and to 'build the nation by removing anomalies and inconsistencies.'
