Large-Scale Rally and Press Meet to be Held in Support of RPP Candidate Advocate Bikram Thapa
KATHMANDU — A large-scale election rally and press meet program will be organized in support of Advocate Bikram Thapa, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate for the upcoming election on March 5, on Saturday, January 24, at 3:30 PM, starting from the Kushal Bhairab Temple premises in Kaushaltar.
The program will begin with a formal worship ceremony at the Kushal Bhairab Temple. Following this, organizers have informed that a massive rally accompanied by traditional Dhime music will be taken out from the temple to the party’s election campaign coordination office in Gathaghar.
Through this rally, RPP aims to bring its core political principles and agendas to the public. RPP has put forward the restoration of a Hindu State along with the Monarchy, the abolition of federalism, and the concept of a strong local government as its main political philosophies.
According to the party, these agendas are essential for leading the country toward stability while protecting national unity, cultural identity, religion, tradition, and good governance.
Addressing the participants, Advocate Bikram Thapa is expected to present his clear perspective on the party’s stance on the current political situation, the need for constitutional reform, corruption control, national sovereignty, economic self-reliance, job creation, and empowering local levels.
Similarly, a press meet will also be organized for media personnel during the program. On that occasion, candidate Thapa will engage in direct dialogue with journalists regarding the party’s policies and programs, major election issues, and matters of public concern.
The organizers of the program are supporters of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Ward No. 3. According to the organizing side, this program aims to strengthen the party's grassroots base at the local level and expand direct relations with the people.
The organizers have cordially requested local residents, supporters, well-wishers, and media personnel to participate in the program and grace the occasion with their presence.
