Minister of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure, and Urban Development, Kulman Ghising, has expressed his desire to contest elections and lead the country.

He expressed happiness that the 'Ujyalo Nepal' campaign has been given the form of a political party. He stated, "When I was the Executive Director of the Electricity Authority, we ran the 'Ujyalo Abhiyan Nepal' with the cooperation of former Energy Secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyay. I have been collaborating with him for 30 years."

"I am happy that the Ujyalo Nepal Party was formed under his chairmanship. That's why I attended the program as the Chief Guest to congratulate them," said Energy Minister Kulman Ghising. "Whenever there is a crisis in the country, I have been present."

"I got the opportunity to free the country from load-shedding. The government removed me from the post of Executive Director of the Electricity Authority 8 months ago, and now I have received the opportunity to become a Minister," he added. He said that due to the lack of nation-building leaders, good governance, prosperity, and development could not be achieved.

Stating that the country could not achieve economic transformation due to a lack of good leaders, Kulman said, "The right person was not selected for the country's leadership. Good individuals must be selected from the Prime Minister down. We should choose capable people, not our people.
