Janakpur: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Yadav Assumes Office
Janakpur. The newly appointed Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Krishna Yadav, has assumed office.
Chief Minister Yadav took charge immediately after taking the oath of office and secrecy on Sunday.
Upon assuming office, he decided to establish good governance in the province and ensure that all government work carried out under the province's authority is fast and efficient.
Speaking to journalists during the occasion, Chief Minister Yadav expressed his confidence that the current provincial government will achieve stability.
He stated that the seven-party alliance is strong. Chief Minister Yadav also expressed hope that opposition members of parliament would cooperate with him.
Furthermore, he informed that the Cabinet will be expanded soon. He mentioned that the Council of Ministers would be expanded even before taking the vote of confidence.
Currently, Chief Minister Yadav holds all ministries except the Ministry of Finance.
