KP Oli Slams Home Minister: 'Don't Get Overexcited, Behave Yourself'

Kathmandu. KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of the CPN (UML), has sharply criticized the incumbent Home Minister, advising him 'not to get too rattled, don't get overexcited (or 'show off'), and to behave oneself.'

Oli remarked that he only learned the Home Minister's name after he assumed the position. "How many of you had heard the name of this Home Minister? I hadn't even heard his name. I only found out after he became the Home Minister," Oli stated.

Stating that he doesn't need to say much about the Home Minister, Oli addressed him using the informal term 'Babu' (child/son) while offering his advice. "I want to advise the Home Minister Babu not to get too rattled, not to get overexcited, and to behave oneself," he added.

He asserted that politics and running the country are not a 'joke or frivolous matter,' suggesting the Home Minister understand this fact and act accordingly.

"Politics is not a joke, running the country is not a joke. I want to suggest that you understand this fact and act," Oli concluded.
