KP Oli Interacting with Cadres in Southern Jhapa Today

Jhapa. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is meeting with party cadres from the southern parts of Jhapa Constituency No. 5 today. According to District Party Secretary Tulsi Karki, the meeting has been scheduled at the assembly hall of the Model Agricultural Farm in Schoolchaur, Gauradah Municipality-5.

Karki informed that Chairman Oli is scheduled to hold separate meetings with ward committees from eight wards of Gauradah Municipality and six wards of Gauriganj. 

During these sessions, ward officials and members will brief Chairman Oli on the voters' mindset, the state of development, and party activities. In turn, the Chairman will address cadre grievances and provide information regarding party policy, national requirements, and his contributions to Jhapa-5.

Additionally, Chairman Oli is scheduled to inspect the structures that were damaged by fire and vandalism on September 9 during the "Gen-Z" protests. 

During that movement, arson attacks were carried out on the Gauradah Municipal office, the ward offices of wards 1, 7, and 2, as well as the residences of Chief Minister Hikmat Karki, Mayor Chhatrapati Subedi, and Deputy Mayor Jalbarsha Rajbanshi.

Karki further mentioned that Chairman Oli has already concluded separate discussions with the ward committees of Damak Municipality and Kamal Rural Municipality. Arrangements have now been made for every ward committee to meet with the Chairman individually.
