KP Oli Absent from PM Balen Shah’s Swearing-In Ceremony
Kathmandu: Former Prime Minister and UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was absent from the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Balen Shah. While former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal, and Baburam Bhattarai attended the ceremony, Oli did not participate.
Oli, who is currently in white mourning attire following the death of his father, Mohan Prasad, had informed the President's Secretariat that he would be unable to attend. Former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba also did not attend the ceremony as he is currently abroad.
