Koshi Province Government Appoints New Vice-Chairman of Planning Commission

The Koshi Province Government has appointed Taranath Niraula of Biratnagar as the Vice-Chairman of the Planning Commission. The decision to appoint Niraula as the Vice-Chairman was made at today's cabinet meeting.
This new appointment fills the position left vacant after the former Vice-Chairman of the commission, Dr. Rajendra Adhikari, resigned, effective from Kartik 20.
According to the provincial government, Niraula is known as an expert with long experience in the banking sector, as well as being proficient in the workings of local levels.
