Kamal Thapa Expresses Joy on Returning to Rastriya Prajatantra Party

Kathmandu – Kamal Thapa, leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), expressed happiness today at being able to return home.

Speaking at the RPP and RPP Nepal unification announcement held in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he said that he left the RPP home not out of joy but with a very heavy heart, and now feels glad to return.

He stated, “Today I feel the experience of returning home. I had left the RPP home with a very heavy heart, not out of happiness. I left home due to various reasons, and now returning, I am happy as well.”

Thapa also addressed allegations that he left the party out of defeat, saying such claims are untrue.

He added, “At that time, some people accused me knowingly or unknowingly, saying the person who swore on the Gita split the party and ran away after losing. But all of that is false. As a player, I am someone who accepts defeat.”

He urged everyone to move forward strongly by removing divisions between old and new factions.
