JSP Nepal to Hold Province-Level Protest Rallies
JSP Nepal (Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal) is planning to hold province-level protest rallies. The party, which has been organizing various programs raising 28 main demands and national issues, will start the rallies from Saturday, according to Purna Basnet, Head of the Party’s Publicity Department.
According to Basnet, under the province-level program, protest rallies will be held in Biratnagar on Poush 12, in Janakpur of Madhesh Province on Poush 14, in Birgunj on Poush 15, and in Bhairahawa of Lumbini Province on Poush 17.
Meanwhile, provincial-level training and conventions of the party’s provincial committees have been completed in all seven provinces, he added.
As part of the protest programs, JSP Nepal has conducted peaceful demonstrations and public rallies in district headquarters, holding corner meetings and protest programs in various towns and markets of parliamentary constituencies, displaying banners and placards highlighting the party’s demands and issues.
