JSP Nepal's Peaceful Protest Demonstrations in Front of District Administration Offices Nationwide
Kathmandu, December 7. The Janata Samajbadi Party, Nepal (JSP Nepal) organized peaceful sit-ins and protest demonstrations in front of District Administration Offices across the country.
JSP Nepal carried out peaceful sit-ins and demonstrations with placards and banners nationwide in front of the Administration Offices today to pressure the government into addressing their 28-point demands.
Following JSP Nepal's pre-announced protest program, they have been holding continuous peaceful demonstrations and sit-ins in front of the District Administration Offices nationwide for three consecutive days.
Previously, JSP Nepal had made its 28-point demands public and submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister for their swift implementation. JSP Nepal has been conducting peaceful protests, including sit-ins, demonstrations, and corner meetings, nationwide since Mangsir 10 to address its demands.
JSP Nepal has demanded that the country be given an outlet by resolving national problems through amendment/rewriting of the constitution, restructuring the state to reflect national/ethnic identity, redetermination of parliamentary/provincial constituencies based on population-based representation, provision for a directly elected executive presidential system by the people, and the implementation of a fully proportional electoral system.
Similarly, it has demanded that the government address the just demands and issues raised by Gen-Z during their movement, and that it investigate and take action against those responsible for the violence, killings, arson, and destructive activities that occurred due to the government's suppression of the Gen-Z uprising.
Other demands raised by JSP Nepal include ending the "mafiazation" and commercialization of education and health services, and ensuring agricultural loans at subsidized rates for farmers, along with the provision of irrigation, fertilizer, seeds, pesticides, and agricultural markets.-1765101330.jpg)
