JSP Nepal Withdraws Support to Oli-led Government
Kathmandu, July 16 – The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has officially withdrawn its support to the government led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The decision was made during a meeting of the party's parliamentary group held on Wednesday. JSP Nepal’s Chief of Publicity and Publication Department, Purna Basnet, confirmed that the party has decided to revoke its earlier support to the government.
Earlier, the party’s Central Executive Committee had instructed the parliamentary group to take a final decision regarding the withdrawal. Acting on the directive, today’s meeting of the parliamentary party formally decided to pull back support, Basnet added.
