JSP Nepal to Organize National Convention of Socialist Youth Union
Kathmandu – The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal has decided to organize a national convention of its sister organization, the Socialist Youth Union, Nepal Central Committee.
The decision was made during a recent meeting of the party’s central secretariat, according to Purna Basnet, head of the party's publicity and publication department. He informed that the party's General Secretary, Lalbabu Raut, has sent letters to district presidents, instructing them to recommend the names of three active and capable youths from each district.
The names must be of individuals under the age of 40 and should be submitted to the party's central office by the end of the Nepali month of Shrawan.
The party stated that it considers youth participation essential in building a prosperous nation and that the national convention aims to unite dynamic, capable, and committed young forces within the organization.
