JSP Nepal to Organize National Assembly of DOTIM Confederation

Kathmandu, July 10 – The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal is set to organize the National Assembly of the DOTIM Confederation on Saturday, July 12 (Asar 28) at a party palace in Dillibazar, Kathmandu. According to Purna Basnet, Head of the Publicity Department, the event will be inaugurated by party Chairperson Upendra Yadav.

Basnet stated that the DOTIM Confederation was formed to fight against the structural discrimination present in Nepal's current political system and to ensure political and economic rights as well as social justice for Dalits, indigenous nationalities, women, Tharu communities, other backward classes, and minority groups.

“DOTIM Confederation is a movement for identity and rights,” he said. “It will advocate and fight to bring marginalized social groups, classes, castes, religions, genders, and linguistic communities into the mainstream of the nation, ensuring fair participation in power, resources, and opportunities.”

The party has intensified preparations for the assembly under the leadership of Chandeshwar Paswan, who is serving as the coordinator of the confederation. A special task force has also been formed to support and organize the event effectively.

JSP Nepal has called on all participants to attend the assembly wearing attire that reflects their ethnic and cultural identity.
