JSP Nepal forms a new Federal Parliamentary Board under the leadership of Upendra Yadav
Kathmandu – Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has announced the formation of a Federal Parliamentary Board.
Purna Basnet, head of the party's publicity and publication department, informed that the board was formed with the responsibility of conducting necessary work related to the election of members of the House of Representatives, in accordance with the provisions of Sub-section (10) of Article 95 and Article 96 of the party's statute.
According to him, the party's Central Committee Chairman, Upendra Yadav, will serve as the Convenor of the board.
Co-Chairman Rakam Chemjong, General Secretaries Lalbabu Raut and Ramkumar Sharma, and Central Members Kunta Rai, Khemanarayan Yadav, Shaileshkumar Chaudhary, Pramila Yadav, Kailash Gurung, Rambahadur Jagri, Man Bahadur Gurung, and Santosh Silwal have been selected as members.
In addition, JSP stated that the chairpersons of all the party's provincial committees have been arranged to be ex-officio members.
The party expects the board to take on important responsibilities, from strategic decisions to candidate selection, to effectively participate in the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
