JSP Nepal's Organizational Activities Help Update and Upgrade the Party

Purna Basnet, the Head of Publicity Department of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, stated that the party's organizational activities have helped to update and upgrade the party.

Speaking about the 'JSP Nepal Basic Organization Building Campaign with the People' which JSP Nepal has been running for nearly a year, Basnet mentioned that the party's recent organizational activities have guided the party on issues such as contemporary politics, the mandate of the Gen Z uprising, and the party's future course of action.

Basnet said, "Under the campaign, activities such as conventions of various hierarchical committees, formation and reorganization of party committees, party entry, distribution and renewal of membership took place. These very organizational activities worked to make the party vibrant and active. The party has received important feedback."

Basnet explains that the priorities of party organization change with time. He says, "Earlier, the objective was to acquire organizational strength and then contribute as needed for the people and society, but now it has become possible to acquire political and organizational strength even by making whatever contribution one can with honesty and dedication for the people and society."

JSP Nepal, which has completed conventions of the Koshi, Madhesh, and Karnali provincial committees, has announced the schedule for the Lumbini Provincial Committee convention.

Basnet says that after completing the conventions of the remaining provincial committees and sister organizations, the party will focus on the upcoming elections. He emphasized that the interim government should create a suitable environment for the elections.
