JSP Nepal Publicizes 28-Point Demands: From Constitutional Amendment to Addressing Gen Z Movement Issues
The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has publicly released its 28 main demands and national issues that the party has been raising.
Purna Basnet, head of the party's publicity department, stated that JSP Nepal has raised demands ranging from constitutional amendment and empowering provinces based on the principle of the federal system to the government fulfilling the just demands and issues raised by the Gen Z generation during their movement.
JSP Nepal stated, "The national problems should be solved and the country should be given a way out by amending or rewriting the constitution.
Furthermore, the state should be restructured on a (10+1) basis, reflecting national/ethnic identity, based on the recommendations of the High-Level Commission on State Restructuring Report 2068."
JSP Nepal has called on the government to address the just demands and issues raised by the Gen Z (youth generation) during the movement.
It has also demanded an investigation into the acts of violence, murder, arson, and destruction that occurred due to the government's repression to suppress the Gen Z uprising, and to punish those found guilty according to the law.
JSP Nepal emphasizes the need to ensure control of corruption, good governance, and transparency.
It stresses that all acts of corruption committed in the past while in government, and various corruption-related scandals, should be investigated, and the corrupt should be punished according to the law.
Basnet also mentioned that the party's 28 various demands and national issues have been approved by the Central Executive Committee meeting, and various struggle programs have been announced starting from December 10 to get these demands and issues fulfilled.
