JSP Nepal to Prepare and Implement Election-Focused Programs and Action Plan

Purna Basnet, the Head of Publicity Department of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, has stated that the party will prepare and implement programs and an action plan focused on the upcoming House of Representatives election.

Basnet informed that the recently concluded Central Committee meeting of the party decided to give high priority to election-focused activities, and that the party's Central Publicity and Publication Department would be centered on election-oriented promotion.

Basnet said, "The Central Committee meeting has decided to prepare and implement election-related programs and action plans concerning the selection of candidates, election publicity, financial management, volunteer mobilization, election training, voter awareness programs, and voter list registration, among others.

The party's Provincial Committees, Identity-based National Committees, District Committees, Palika (local level) Committees, and their subordinate committees will be actively mobilized."

He added that the party ranks would actively work to bring the 67-point demands and proposals the party previously submitted to the government, as well as the party's ideology, policies, and programs, to the public.

JSP Nepal has also been demanding that the government create an appropriate environment and ensure peace and security to make the election successful.
