Joint People’s Movement Committee Appoints Acting Coordinator

Kathmandu, Sept 1, 2025 – The Joint People’s Movement Committee, which advocates for the restoration of a Constitutional Monarchy, Sanatan Hindu Kingdom, and multiparty democracy, has announced a temporary leadership adjustment.

In a press statement issued on September 1, Coordinator Nabaraj Subedi informed that he will be outside the country for some time. During his absence, he has authorized Dr. Dhawal Shumsher Rana, Coordinator of the Movement Mobilization Committee, to serve as Acting Coordinator and carry out all responsibilities on his behalf.

The Joint People’s Movement Committee has been actively voicing its agenda for reinstating the constitutional monarchy and Hindu statehood alongside a multiparty democratic system in Nepal.
