Finance Minister Prioritizes Job Creation and Inflation Control
Kathmandu: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has stated that the upcoming budget will focus on improving the social living standards of common citizens.
During a discussion with a delegation from the Economic Media Association Nepal (EMAN), he mentioned that current economic challenges will be addressed through the promotion of entrepreneurship, increasing domestic production, and building a self-reliant economy.
Finance Minister Wagle emphasized the need to prioritize capital development, job creation, and controlling rising inflation. He stated that collaboration with the communication sector is necessary to build a strong and self-reliant economy through the development of entrepreneurship and the growth of domestic production.
Furthermore, he mentioned that all parties must be responsible for ending existing corruption and maintaining good governance in the country, noting that job creation has been placed as a major priority for the government.
During the discussion, the EMAN delegation demanded that the government bring forward balanced and inclusive policies for the overall development of media outlets.
