Ishwar Pokhrel claims Kathmandu 5 voters will ensure his victory
CPN-UML leader Ishwar Pokhrel has stated that the upcoming election is highly significant for bringing the country back into a democratic and constitutional process.
Pokhrel, who is a candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, spoke to media personnel on Monday during a door-to-door campaign in Handigaun. He remarked that the upcoming election is crucial for restoring the democratic and constitutional process at a time when the country is in an unusual situation.
Pokhrel mentioned that the UML is the only right party to build the nation. Stating that his candidacy is based on the needs of the constituency's voters and the party committee, he expressed his commitment to addressing public issues and implementing many previously planned projects.
He claimed that because voters are well-aware of the work he has done, they will grant him their votes and ensure his victory.
In Kathmandu Constituency No. 5, along with Pokhrel from UML, other candidates include Pradip Paudel from the Congress, Kalpana Sharma from the NCP, Kamal Thapa from the RPP, and Sasmit Pokhrel from the RSP, among others.
