Home Minister Confronts Contractor Over Narayangadh–Butwal Road Delays
Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has drawn the serious attention of the Chinese contractor company regarding the long-standing neglect of the Narayangadh–Butwal road section. During a field inspection of the road section on Sunday, Minister Gurung expressed strong dissatisfaction over the delays in construction work.
During the monitoring, he expressed concern that the poor condition of the road has caused significant hardship for passengers, obstructed movement, and increased the risk of road accidents. He issued a strict directive to the construction company to prioritize citizen safety and to avoid negligence in construction work under any pretext.
Following Minister Gurung's instruction, representatives of the Chinese construction company committed to completing the road construction work within the next 15 days. Emphasizing the need to finish quality work on time, Minister Gurung made it clear that the tendency to leave work abandoned will no longer be acceptable.
