Himal Youth BIZ Festival 2082 concludes with historic success in Pokhara

Pokhara, Asar – The Himal Youth BIZ Festival 2082, organized by Himal College of Management, Pokhara, concluded with remarkable success and enthusiastic participation, making it a historic and inspiring event. The festival saw a footfall of over 5,000 visitors and participants.

The event featured 15 diverse business stalls, primarily showcasing the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of young Nepali innovators, business groups, and institutions. According to the college, the objective was not only to expose students to entrepreneurial concepts but also to instill pride in their culture and homeland.

Students independently operated the stalls, gaining hands-on experience in self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and leadership development.

Addressing the event as the chief guest, Gandaki Province’s Minister for Water Supply and Energy, Mr. Farindra Devkota, praised the initiative, stating:

“Such creative efforts by the youth are the true beginning of Nepal’s journey toward sustainable economic prosperity. I wholeheartedly congratulate the Himal College team for successfully hosting this inspiring event.”

Senior advocate and social activist Swagat Nepal remarked:

“Engaging students in such entrepreneurial and creative activities at an academic level significantly contributes to the development of responsible citizenship. The college’s effort is commendable.”

Veteran journalist Manoj Sapkota, extending his best wishes, said:

“Today’s students are the leaders of tomorrow. Providing them with an open platform and business experience is akin to investing in the future. Himal College’s vision is truly praiseworthy.”

Campus Chief Mr. Bikal Ranabhat, in his welcome speech, stated:

“Our aim is not only to deliver education but to build practical knowledge and leadership skills. This festival is a living testimony to that goal.”

Program Chairperson Mr. Chetanath Bhandari, in his concluding remarks, noted:

“This event marks a historic achievement for our college. The example we’ve set will certainly inspire other academic institutions to organize similar initiatives.”

The event was skillfully hosted by Associate Campus Chief Mr. Lila Prasad Parajuli, while the musical performance by Melodies Band added energy and vibrancy to the atmosphere.

Himal College considers this festival a milestone initiative to introduce entrepreneurship and professionalism at the school and college levels in Nepal.
