Kulman Ghising Joins RSP as Vice President; Harka Sampang Reacts with Sharp Criticism
Following an agreement for Kulman Ghising, the patron of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party, to become the Vice President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Harka Sampang has taken a satirical swipe, claiming "Ujyaalo Nepal has eloped."
Sharing his views on social media, he wrote: "Is it true that Ujyaalo Nepal has eloped? And these are the people supposed to lead the country?"
He further added, "Nepalese people, we should boycott rather than vote for those who cannot stay firm in their ideology even for a month."
Kulman Ghising joined the RSP as its second-ranked leader, holding the position of Vice President.
The agreement, reached on Monday, reportedly grants his faction a more than 16 percent share in the proportional representation (PR) category. The entry of both Kulman and Balen Shah has significantly heated up the current political climate.
With the merger between the RSP and the Ujyaalo Nepal Party, the voices rising against traditional political forces have now largely organized under one banner.
Previously, the Bibeksheel Sajha Party had also merged with the RSP. The arrival of Balen and Kulman has further strengthened the party’s position.
