Harka Sampang Says He Has Minimal Personal Assets

Chairperson of the Labour Culture Party and Member of Parliament Harka Sampang has stated that he owns only around 4–5 tolas of gold and has a bank balance of approximately NPR 200,000 to 400,000.

In a Facebook post, he mentioned that he was asked to submit his property details and said he would provide them in a few days. He added that he does not have any property registered in his name.

He explained that his only assets are the gold he collected through foreign employment, estimated at 4–5 tolas, and a modest bank balance of around NPR 2–4 lakh, which he said he would make public.

He also revealed that his ancestral property in Khotang consists of some farmland, but it is registered in his mother’s name.
