Government Initiates Consultations with Political Parties on House of Representatives Election Preparations

Kathmandu. The government has begun organizing discussions with political parties regarding the preparations for the House of Representatives election, which has been announced for the upcoming Falgun 21 (March 5)

The government has initiated consultations with major political parties to ensure the election is conducted in a fair, independent, and fear-free environment.

It has been reported that during these discussions, opinions and suggestions are being gathered on the election date, code of conduct, security management, and necessary legal provisions.

The government side has stressed that the cooperation and coordination of the parties are essential for the entire electoral process and has requested positive participation.
