Gokul Baskota: "The Only Alternative to Democracy is Democracy"

Kathmandu – CPN-UML leader and former minister Gokul Baskota has said that there is no alternative to democracy.
In a Facebook post, he remarked that the “desert storm” is sweeping rapidly across South Asia and urged everyone to correct themselves while working to correct the nation.
He stated, “The only alternative to democracy is democracy. Political problems cannot be solved outside the constitution. The country and democracy cannot be hijacked.”
He further added that whether the nation moves decades ahead or centuries backward will be determined by time itself.
