Nepali Congress General Secretary Ghimire on National Assembly Elections and Party Strategy
Morang. Nepali Congress General Secretary Gururaj Ghimire has stated that party discipline and the implementation of decisions will be the primary foundation for the National Assembly elections. He clarified that there will be no deviation in the cooperation agreed upon between the Congress and the UML.
Speaking with media persons in Morang on Saturday, General Secretary Ghimire expressed confidence that Congress voters, representatives, and the electoral college will vote honestly in accordance with the party's decision in the election scheduled for January 25 (Magh 11).
General Secretary Ghimire claimed that the Nepali Congress is heading into the House of Representatives election on March 5 (Phagun 21) in an organized and responsible manner while correcting past mistakes.
He mentioned that the party has adopted a policy of prioritizing agendas that can be implemented in practice rather than relying on emotional slogans when reaching out to voters.
According to him, instead of using grand and attractive words in the manifesto this time, Congress is preparing to go into the election by including only commitments that the public can experience and that can be fulfilled.
