Gen-Z Surge: Heavy Rush for Voter Registration in Pokhara
POKHARA. A significant rush has been observed for voter registration in Pokhara as the deadline for enrollment approaches, ahead of the upcoming election scheduled for Fagun 21.
The Provincial Election Office in Pokhara is currently experiencing a large crowd, with only three days remaining for the registration period.
According to Mr. Rudra Neupane, Information Officer at the Provincial Election Office, an average of 900 people are registering their names daily. Most notably, 85% of the individuals registering their names belong to the Gen-Z demographic.
This high turnout from the youth indicates a substantial and growing interest among the younger generation in actively participating in the democratic process.
