Maoist Centre Draws Attention to Crackdown on Gen Z Movement

Kathmandu, September 23 – The Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) has expressed serious concern over the state-led crackdown on the campaign launched by the Gen Z generation against the social media shutdown and corruption.

The party strongly condemned the police suppression of citizens participating in the peaceful movement. It paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the crackdown and wished a speedy recovery for the injured protesters.

The Maoist Centre stated that the demands raised by the Gen Z generation—opposing the social media shutdown and fighting against corruption—are just and in favor of the public. The party urged the government to address these demands responsibly.
