Youth Support for New Government under Gen Z Leadership

Kathmandu – Social activist Durga Prasai has praised Prime Minister Sushila Karki for her cautious approach in forming the cabinet, in a detailed Facebook post.

Addressing Prime Minister Karki, he emphasized that participation in the upcoming cabinet should be based not merely on involvement in the movement, but on technical expertise and policy knowledge relevant to the ministries. “Only competent, capable, and honest individuals who can lead the country on the right path should be given responsibility,” he said.

Prasai highlighted that the courage and contribution of Gen Z have given the country a new direction, paying tribute to the sacrifices made during the movement. He wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the protests and expressed full confidence in building a new, just, and inclusive Nepal under the Prime Minister’s leadership.

His message also stressed that the Gen Z quota should be allocated to skilled and capable individuals who can turn the movement’s goals into practical outcomes.
