Gen Z Mirage Dhungana Group Launches Protest Against Government From Today
Kathmandu — The Gen Z Mirage Dhungana group has announced the start of a protest from today, citing dissatisfaction with the government led by Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
Group coordinator Mirage Dhungana claimed that the government has already failed after reviewing its 100 days in office, and confirmed that the protest will begin from Monday (Today).
According to the group, the demonstration will take place at Maitighar Mandala starting at 11:00 a.m. The Gen Z activists allege that the government they helped bring to power has “hijacked” the demands and issues raised by the Gen Z movement.
Several Gen Z groups have jointly announced the protest on the very day the prime minister completes 100 days in office. Dhungana stated that the current government has failed to respect the spirit and objectives of the Gen Z protests held on Bhadra 23 and 24, leading to renewed agitation.
