Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa's Bakra Eid Message

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has stated that Nepal is a nation enriched with multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and multi-cultural characteristics. Issuing a message of greetings on the occasion of Bakra Eid (Eid-ul-Adha) on Thursday, he expressed belief that Bakra Eid would further strengthen the spirit of mutual love, harmony, cooperation, and social unity in Nepali society. 

He mentioned that a glorious tradition of mutual respect, tolerance, and harmony remains intact in Nepali society, which stands as a confluence of various castes, languages, religions, cultures, and festivals. "Nepal is a nation enriched with multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-religious, and multi-cultural characteristics.

He said that such festivals convey a message of unity among all castes and religious followers. He also expressed wishes for happiness, peace, and prosperity to the entire Muslim community.
