Gagan Thapa Pays Tribute on the 43rd Memorial Day of BP Koirala
Chitwan, 22 July – Nepali Congress leader and Member of Parliament Gagan Thapa paid tribute on the 43rd memorial day of the people's leader BP Koirala, who made remarkable contributions to democratic values, thought, and revolutionary ideology.
Thapa laid a wreath at the BP statue located in the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital premises in Chitwan and observed a moment of silence in memory of his contributions, ideas, and sacrifices.
Expressing his feelings emotionally via Facebook, Thapa wrote, “Respectfully remembering the 43rd memorial day of people's leader BP Koirala, who sowed the seeds of democratic values and thought in Nepal, as well as laid the foundation of revolutionary consciousness in literature and ideas. May the path shown by BP continue to guide us.”
The leader also mentioned that BP Koirala's thoughts and contributions are even more relevant in the current political context and democratic journey.
