Gagan Thapa Insists on Nepali Congress 15th General Convention Before Election

Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has stressed that the party's 15th General Convention must be held by any means before the announced House of Representatives election on March 5.

Speaking at the Central Working Committee meeting held at the party's central office in Sanepa on Tuesday, General Secretary Thapa stated that the party's General Convention should be conducted at any cost before the election.

He emphasized that if a regular General Convention is not possible before the election, then a Special General Convention must be organized to elect new leadership and ensure the party's organizational and ideological preparedness for the polls.
