We Will Support the Government for Good Governance Despite Being in Opposition: Gagan Thapa

Nepali Congress President Gagan Thapa has stated that he is in continuous dialogue with leaders of all levels to make the party's upcoming 15th General Convention a grand success. Speaking with media persons at Biratnagar Airport, Thapa expressed his commitment to move forward by including all colleagues to complete the convention in a way that sends a message of unity.

He mentioned that although the Congress holds the role of the opposition in the Federal Parliament, the party has a strong presence in all seven provinces and local levels, placing a significant responsibility on its shoulders to meet public expectations. President Thapa clarified that, in accordance with the decision of the Central Committee, there will be constructive support for the current government in maintaining good governance and the effective implementation of the constitution.

Thapa noted that the party remains ever-ready to address issues directly concerning the public. Emphasizing the need to take organizational strengthening and public service work forward together, he expressed confidence that although the upcoming journey is challenging, the Congress will give the country the right direction with everyone's support and cooperation.
