Former Prime Minister Deuba Extends Greetings on Nag Panchami

Kathmandu — Former Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has conveyed his heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Nag Panchami through a Facebook post today. Along with his message, he shared a photo of a serpent (Naag) coiled around a Shiva Linga.
In his post, Deuba wrote, "Heartfelt greetings to everyone on Nag Panchami."
Nag Panchami is an important Hindu festival during which devotees worship serpent deities as a symbol of water, earth, and seasonal balance. The festival reminds people of the coexistence between humans and nature.
