National Flag Respect Campaign Submits Memorandum to Election Commission

Kathmandu: The National Flag Respect Campaign Nepal is set to submit a memorandum to the Election Commission at 3:30 PM on Monday. 

According to campaign coordinator Govinda Paudel, the event will see participation from Nepali citizens who cherish and respect the national flag.

The campaign aims to promote the respect, protection, and dignity of the national flag. Recently, there has been opposition to candidates using the national flag indiscriminately during elections. 

The Ministry of Home Affairs has also urged that the national flag be used only according to existing laws, keeping in mind its high dignity and decorum.
