Prime Minister Karki to Present Film Bill in National Assembly Today

Kathmandu, Feb 11 - Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who is also overseeing the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, is scheduled to present the 'Film Bill, 2024' in today's meeting of the National Assembly.

According to the probable agenda for the National Assembly meeting scheduled for 1:15 PM today by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Prime Minister Karki will present the bill for discussion and move a proposal for its passage.

Similarly, in today's meeting, the respective ministers will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Ministry of Finance.

The agenda also includes Tulsakumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislation Management Committee, presenting the 'Annual Report of the Legislation Management Committee for the Fiscal Year 2081/82'.

Furthermore, Mayaprasad Sharma, Chairperson of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee, is scheduled to present a proposal for discussion on the 'Study Report on the Immigration Act, 2049 and the Delegated Legislation formed under the Act, 2082'.
