UML Convention: Fierce Competition for General Secretary; Shankar Pokhrel Leads by Thin Margin

A highly competitive race has emerged for the post of General Secretary at the ongoing 11th National Convention of the CPN (UML).
According to the latest counting updates from Bhrikutimandap, candidate Shankar Pokhrel has secured 115 votes. He is facing a tough challenge from Surendra Pandey, who has obtained 108 votes.
With a narrow gap of only 7 votes between the two contenders, the final outcome remains highly unpredictable.
