Kathmandu — The Federal Democratic Front is set to launch a public awareness campaign titled "Current Political Situation and Federal Democratic Vision" starting Sunday, August 3 (Shrawan 18). The campaign will kick off from Kathmandu.
According to Purna Basnet, Head of the Publicity Department of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, the alliance of seven Madhes-focused parties will organize the campaign across eight major cities: Kathmandu, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Kailali, Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, and Birgunj.
Basnet said the campaign will focus on clarifying the necessity and relevance of forming the Federal Democratic Front. Senior leaders of the alliance will participate in the events to deliver key messages regarding federalism, democracy, and inclusion.
To ensure the programs are well-organized and impactful, all member parties of the Front are engaged in intensive preparations. JSP Nepal has already finalized the list of its representatives who will attend events in all eight locations, Basnet added.
