Conclusion of 40-Day Service for Election Police Forces

Kathmandu. The 149,090 election police personnel deployed for the security of the House of Representatives elections held on Falgun 21 are being bid farewell today. 

Today, the election police are being honored and bid farewell with expressions of gratitude, certificates, and a pledge to assist the country whenever necessary. Their 40-working-day recruitment period concludes today. 

This year, 149,090 election police were mobilized, including 133,980 under the Nepal Police and 15,110 under the Armed Police Force. A farewell program for the personnel under the Armed Police Force is also scheduled for today.
